Chemical Peels cause a slight irritation that the skin recognizes as an injury, which in turn, stimulates an increase in production of collagen and elastin. This in turn reduces fine lines, refines enlarged pores, lightens and brightens the skin, reduces sebum production, increases cell regeneration and strengthens the integrity of the skin.

Dry, sensitive, oily, hyper pigmented, and acne skin can also be treated with a combination of various chemical agents to obtain an individuals desired goal. Our peels are classified as progressive, mid-depth and deep.

Progressive Peels cause exfoliation by removing the stratum corneum. As treatments are repeated the skin experiences mild flaking. For the best results, 3-4 treatments should be performed 1-2 weeks apart. They are a good "lead in" to mild or deep peels.

Mid-depth Peels affect the intra-epidermal layer. Exfoliation occurs 2-3 days after application. There is little to no down time, with mild flaking simi liar to a sunburn. Usually these peels are done monthly for as long as needed to obtain desired results.

Deep Peels affect the deepest intra-epidermal layers. The skin undergoes considerable peeling which occurs 3-4 days after the application. The entire process takes 7-10 days and some downtime maybe needed. These peels can be done 6 weeks apart, 3-4 times a year.
